Hi, my name is Carol, and I love making things and getting crafty. Over the years I have made candles, tea lights, sowing items like cushions and so much more. I received my first candle-making kit when I was about 19. In 2014 I began my journey volunteering with the Brownie Guides. There I trained as a Brownie Leader with a group in Bedfordshire. I have learned so many new skills and crafts, that I wanted to share them with others. This is why I started my blogging and candle journey. What better way to be crafty than to create a website and share it with the world?

In June 2020, I started a new venture after joining Etsy. I have been creating lots more beautiful candles and wax melts. In 2022 I began experimenting with soap making. Please view my Candle store Carol's Candles for even more items up for sale than ever before. Together we can learn and grow into crafty people.

Craft fairs:

Carol's Candles and Gifts attended many craft fairs at Arlesey Social Club. These Craft Fairs were on the second Saturday of each month at Arlesey. This was a fun craft fair mostly indoors, where you could also grab a pint at the bar and play some pool.

Arlesey social club is no longer taking bookings for new stalls due to changes. It like many other Craft Fair locations will provide you with a small table and a chair for just £5, others up to £25 just for entry. If Carol's Candles are attending any they will normally be posted on our Facebook page.

Since Carol's Candles has moved to Lincolnshire in 2022, there will be more craft fairs coming to surrounding areas.
